| 11- Projects are reserved for contractors available and able to undertake such work. |
| 12- Contractors are free to apply on all projects presented to them. |
| 13- Posted projects expire after 60 days and a notification is issued after 30 days. |
| 14- Posted projects also expire after 3 contractors have applied on them. |
| 15- Make sure you have an up-to-date web browser and also enable Javascript to get the most out of this website. |
| 16- If you do not receive emails from us, check that Rénobec is not in your spam list. |
| 17- Homeowners who post projects must be available for our partner-contractors to come and evaluate the work to be undertaken therefore allowing them to submit a quotation. |
| 18- Homeowners who receive quotes are free to do business with these contractors. |
| 19- Homeowners are invited to send us the quotes they receive, the procedure will be provided. |
| 20- Homeowners who receive quotes from our partner-contractors may be asked to complete a survey. |
| 21- Homeowners must delete any projects for which they no longer wish to find a contractor. They may manage posted projects from their homeowner account. |
| ARTICLE 22 – Code of Conduct for Information Use and Professional Ethics for Partner-Contractors |
| 22.0 — Private Use: Information obtained through the platform by our partner-contractors must be used in a strictly private and confidential manner. |
| 22.1 — Prohibition of Republication: Contractors are strictly prohibited from republishing, distributing, or sharing, in any manner whatsoever, information regarding projects obtained via the platform on public forums, discussion groups, or social media. All communication concerning a project must remain private and limited to the requirements of the work's execution. |
| 22.2- Protection of Privacy: The contractor agrees to protect the privacy of property owners. It is formally prohibited to publish or disclose names, contact details, photos, technical documents, or any other information that could identify an owner or their property, under penalty of immediate account termination and potential legal action. |
| 22.3 – Execution Capacity and Expertise: By applying for a project, the contractor certifies that they possess the necessary qualifications, licenses (RBQ), insurance, labor, and equipment to complete the work. While subcontracting is not prohibited, it must be carried out in compliance with industry standards and can in no way serve as a justification for a public search for subcontractors using data from the platform. |
| 22.4 – Sanctions and Termination: Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned clauses constitutes a serious breach of Rénobec's values and the partnership agreement. Rénobec reserves the unilateral right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to suspend or permanently close the account of any contractor engaging in such behavior, without reimbursement of any tokens or fees incurred. |
